I recently moved to the UK, and this blog details the things that happen to me and what’s going on in my life.

I studied at the University of Texas at Austin where I received a Master of Arts in advertising, with a focus in account planning. Before that, I received a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and media studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I recently started a new job as a trainee social media planner in London.

My interests are very heavily rooted in technology, new media, and social media. While social media planning is relatively new to me, planning itself isn’t, and social media itself isn’t, so I’m enjoying the combination of the two during the week.

I’m also a creative person, and I love art and music a whole lot. I’ve taken photography and it’s an activity that I very much enjoy. I also enjoy painting and creating mixed media pieces. I’ve dipped into graphic design and web design as well as newspaper, magazine, and advertising layouts.

Lately I’ve been reading more, learning more about cooking, learning to rock climb, and I’d like to integrate some yoga and pilates into my life and perhaps take a pottery course.
